Our approach

Growing at their own pace

At Kannerstär, pedagogy begins in the child's everyday life: feeling welcomed, building bonds, exploring, playing, resting, and progressing step by step. The aim is to offer a clear and caring framework where every child can find their place. The team observes needs, adapts activities, and gently supports the important moments of the day: arrival, meals, sleep, play, outings, and reunions with parents. Our childcare centre offers an immersive world where each room has a different pedagogical theme. Each universe allows children to discover animals, nature, cultures, and the world through activities adapted to their age.

Yellow room

An Africa/Safari world to awaken imagination, discover animals, and invent great adventures.

Blue room

An ocean and marine world inviting children to explore the depths, colours, and stories of the sea.

Green room

A nature and forest atmosphere for observing, handling, building, and playing in a gentle setting inspired by living things.

Purple room

A polar and icy world where children discover imaginary landscapes, new sensations, and calming games.

Pedagogical project

Five pillars for learning with confidence

These pillars give a clear direction to everyday activities and workshops. They support active, joyful learning that respects each child's individuality.

01

Autonomy

Encouraging the child to try, choose, and take small age-appropriate initiatives.

02

Self-esteem

Valuing progress, effort, and success to build inner confidence.

03

Collaboration

Learning to act with others: sharing, waiting, cooperating, and finding one's place in the group.

04

Mutual respect

Recognising each child's individuality and supporting relationships with gentleness and clarity.

05

Discovery of the five senses

Exploring sounds, colours, textures, movements, and flavours through varied experiences.

Pedagogy every day

Simple markers for each day

Arrival, play, meals, rest, and outdoor time create a clear rhythm that reassures children and helps them participate. Activities are offered flexibly: the child can explore, observe, repeat, and learn with others. This continuity helps everyone find their bearings while keeping the freedom to discover at their own pace.
